Here’s a real simple tip for anybody who’s struggling to keep their head still during their putting. Perhaps you’ve had a friend hold your head or you’ve put your head against a wall but as soon as you take away that resistance your head starts moving again. While I was out playing myself the other day, I started to realize when I was making some practice strokes in the putting green and I used my shadow to get a feel or I could get some feedback if my head was moving. So just simply by looking at the shadow, learning to rock my shoulders, I got a feel for keeping my head still. You can even hit some putts. Address the ball then look at your shadow. Getting some feedback and some feeling for keeping your head still. Let’s call it Shadow Practice.
