Hi this is Robin Symes. The subject I’ve talked about before is ground force, using the ground to create club head speed. If you’re interested in improving this in your own swing, try this drill. Take your address as normal, but rather than keeping your left foot on the ground in the back swing, allow your left heel to come off the ground slightly. From this position, focus on stamping your foot into the ground as you’re triggering the down swing, putting as much pressure in this area as you can, singing through to the follow through. Simply allow your left heel to come up, stamp it into the ground, and swing through, A little bit of practice in this will allow you to feel the increase, in pressure under your left foot to start the downswing, increasing your ground force.
