PATH & FACE RELATIONSHIP

Approximately 85% of the ball’s initial flight direction is determined by the CLUBFACE, leaving only 15% of its initial flight direction reliant on SWING PATH.  Where the CLUBFACE and SWING PATH are in relationship with each other will determine the spin axis.

A simple yet important rule to remember is when the CLUBFACE and SWING PATH are heading in the same direction, the ball will always fly straight.  That does not mean straight at the target.
