METHOD 1 - CHANGE SETUP & CLUB
SETUP

Grip down the club

Ball position moving towards the front foot (how much depends on how high you want)

Body alignment more open than normal so the chest still points target side of the ball

Posture a little lower than for a regular shot

Lie of the club (shaft plane) sitting more flat than it has been designed

Very little shaft lean as a result of the ball position change

Club face open
CLUB

The most lofted club
METHOD 2 - CHANGE THE TECHNIQUE
SETUP

Stance width same as, or wider than shoulders, the higher the shot, the wider

Ball position moving towards left foot

A lower posture, and lower hand position than for a regular shot

Lie of the club (shaft plane) sitting lower than it has been designed

Shaft leaning back away from target

Clubface open
-
Body alignment square, or slightly open to target
BACKSWING

Club swings on plane

Narrow arch as a result of an increased setting (cocking) of the wrists
IMPACT

The shaft position, and loft of the club very similar to that of address

The bounce of the club will be making contact with the ground
RELEASE
